The joint performance of the Academy of traditional Greek dances "Parthenon" and the national ensemble "Kolo" from Serbia was held in UNESCO on 23 March 2019.  The performance was opened with short statements by the representatives of the Permanent Delegations of Greece and the Republic of Serbia to UNESCO, Ms. Maria Corantis and Ms. Danijela Cubrilo, who emphasized the traditional friendship between the two countries and two peoples, that has been confirmed on many occasions in the most difficult historical circumstances. Dances and songs from different parts of Greece and Serbia were presented and two ensembles performed several dances jointly.
